Summit Health Group is a registered NDIS provider delivering exercise physiology to participants across Melbourne. We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants from our clinics in Malvern and Blackburn, as well as through home visits and telehealth.
If you’re an NDIS participant, support coordinator, or carer looking for a registered exercise physiologist in Melbourne — we can confirm funding eligibility before your first appointment.
We are a registered NDIS provider
Summit Health Group is a registered NDIS provider, registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission to deliver funded allied health services. We accept self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants at both our Malvern and Blackburn clinics, and we’ll confirm your funding before your first appointment so there are no surprises.
How NDIS Funding Covers Exercise Physiology
Exercise physiology is funded under the Capacity Building supports in an NDIS plan — specifically under the Improved Daily Living category.
Before your first appointment, we can confirm whether your plan includes this funding. You don’t need to work this out yourself — call us and we’ll check with you.
Sessions can be delivered at our Malvern clinic, our Blackburn clinic, via home visit, or via telehealth — depending on your needs and what your plan allows.
What an NDIS exercise physiology session involves
Your first session is a functional assessment. We review your NDIS goals, your medical history, and what you want to be able to do — then we build a program around that.
Sessions are one-to-one. Your exercise physiologist tracks your progress across every session and adjusts your program as your capacity changes. We also provide progress reports to support coordinators and plan managers when required.
How sessions are delivered
We offer three delivery options for NDIS participants:
- In-clinic — at our Malvern clinic (73–75 Station Street) or Blackburn clinic (7/28–30 Blackburn Road). Purpose-built exercise physiology facilities with all equipment on-site.
- Home visits — for participants who require care in a familiar environment or have difficulty attending a clinic. Available across Melbourne’s inner south-east and eastern suburbs.
- Telehealth — for participants who benefit from remote access or have transport limitations. Delivered via video consultation with a qualified exercise physiologist.
